This page follows the practical order for first-time setup. Do not skip the middle steps: the account determines subscription ownership, the plan determines available data, and the subscription link delivers the route configuration to the client. Finally, verify the connection through real access. For a first setup, this page is enough; for route types, AI service regions, long-lived connection stability or account risk controls, see the complete guide to accessing AI tools.
Create an Account and Open the Panel
Start by opening YJVPN's account creation page. Set a username and password, then submit the form as instructed. No email address is required; your username and password are the credentials for entering the user panel, checking plan status and getting your subscription. Choose a username that is easy for you to recognize without duplicating another public account, and store the password separately rather than relying on a browser session that stays open.
After a successful submission, you will enter the user panel. If the page returns to the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just created. In the panel, first confirm that you can see areas such as “Account Overview,” “Purchase a Plan” and “Download Client.” At this point, the account has been created but does not yet have an active subscription; the next step is to choose a plan and let the panel generate the corresponding service status.
If the form says the username already exists, return to the input field, choose another username and submit again. If a network change delays the redirect, do not submit repeatedly. Return to the login page and try signing in with the credentials you set. Reaching the account overview confirms that the account exists, so there is no need to create it again.
You can enter the user panel with your username and password.
Choose a Plan and Confirm Payment
In the plan section of the user panel, first distinguish between monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB, with data resetting monthly on the activation date. If your usage is steady and you want a fixed amount of data each month, choose one of these three tiers based on your expected usage. When upgrading mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days; check the tier and checkout details shown in the panel before submitting.
Data packages suit variable usage or situations where you want to keep a balance for the long term. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Because the two products are measured differently, do not compare only the total data: monthly subscriptions generally suit continuous use, while data packages can suit intermittent usage based on cumulative needs.
After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, data allowance and amount. Select Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT as the payment method. Once payment is complete, return to the user panel and wait for the order status to update. Do not rely only on the payment page's return message to determine whether the service is active; use the plan status in the panel. Once updated, the account overview will show the current service details, and you can then obtain a valid subscription.
All plans support use on unlimited devices, but simultaneous transfers across multiple devices share the account's data allowance. If you find after payment that the plan does not suit your needs, you may request a 30-day no-questions-asked refund under the site's refund policy. See the Refund Policy page for the applicable rules and conditions.
The order is confirmed in the panel, and the plan status is visible.
Get Your Subscription from the Panel
After the plan status is confirmed, open the account overview. The subscription section provides the subscription details for your account and lists available client entry points. A subscription link is not an ordinary webpage address; it is a credential that the client uses to read route configuration. After copying it, import it directly into the client. Do not publish the link on a public page or provide it to an uncontrolled device.
A sample value for understanding the format is https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. This is only an example; it cannot connect to YJVPN and contains no real credentials. In actual use, copy exactly what the user panel displays for your account. Do not manually change the domain, parameters or letter case. An incomplete copy is one of the most common reasons a first import fails.
If the panel shows both “Copy Subscription” and “Import into Client,” prioritize the entry for your current device. If the client cannot be opened directly, use the copy option instead. Do not open the subscription link in a browser address bar to test it: whether a browser can display content is different from whether a client can parse the configuration. Next, open the client for your platform and place the complete link in its subscription management section.
Subscription content may be updated as routes change. A successful first import does not mean the configuration is permanently fixed. Keep the subscription item in the client and use “Update Subscription” to refresh routes instead of creating a new item each time. Adding the same link repeatedly creates similarly named configurations, which can cause confusion when choosing a route.
The complete subscription link has been copied from the account overview and is ready to import into the client.
Import the Subscription on Each Platform
The client only reads the subscription, displays routes and establishes the system connection. Static installation packages are not provided on the marketing pages; download access is centralized in the user panel. Open the panel's client download area and choose the client and instructions provided for your current system. After installation, import the subscription link copied in the previous step. Button labels may differ across the four platforms, but the workflow is always “add subscription—update configuration—choose a route.”
Windows
Desktop ClientsGet the YJVPN client for Windows from the user panel and complete the installation. After launching it, check the sidebar or top menu for “Subscription,” “Configuration” or “Subscription Management.” Choose to add from a link and paste the complete subscription address into the URL field; you can enter YJVPN as the name to distinguish it from other configurations. Save it, click update and wait for the route list to appear.
Once the routes load, return to the client home screen, choose a route matching the target service's region, and enable the system connection. If Windows displays a confirmation related to network access or a virtual network adapter, allow the configuration as prompted. After the client shows a connected status, do not close the window immediately; minimize it to the system tray and continue with the verification steps.
macOS
Desktop ClientsChoose the macOS client entry in the user panel and launch it from Applications after installation. On first run, the system may ask you to approve a network extension or connection configuration permission. Complete the authorization in the system dialog and return to the client. Then open the configuration or subscription page, add a new remote subscription, paste the link copied from the panel in full and save it.
After updating, check that the route names have loaded. Select a route for the target region and turn on the connection switch. The macOS menu bar usually shows the client status, and the corresponding connection also appears in the Network area of System Settings. If the authorization dialog was closed, the client may show routes but be unable to connect. In that case, check pending approvals in System Settings instead of repeatedly deleting the subscription.
Android
Mobile ClientsCheck the user panel for the Android client download method. After installing and opening it, go to configuration management. Find the add entry in the top-right corner or the subscription management option, choose Import from URL, paste the subscription link and confirm. After updating, the home screen will show regional routes or policy options. Choose a route first, then tap connect.
When the system establishes a connection for the first time, a permission dialog appears. Confirm it so the client can manage the device's network connection. After connecting, allow the client to keep running in the background. If the system's power-saving policy is too strict, allow the client to run normally in the background through system app management. For now, just make sure the first connection is not terminated immediately; handle more detailed background-policy differences in the device settings if an issue arises.
iOS
iOS ClientOpen the client section in the user panel and prepare the corresponding client using the entry provided on the iOS page. In the client, open the configuration or subscription page and choose to add a remote subscription, or use the import entry provided by the panel. If copying manually, paste the complete subscription link into the URL field, save it, update the configuration and confirm that the route list has appeared.
When you enable the connection for the first time, iOS asks permission to add a system connection configuration. After confirming in the system dialog, return to the client, select a route and turn on the connection switch. A connection status in the status bar or Control Center only shows that the system configuration is enabled; you still need to verify the target service through a real webpage or app. To change routes, select another one in the client and reconnect.
Connect to a Route and Verify It Works
After the subscription loads, choose a region based on the target service. For AI tools, prioritize regions supported by the service and those normally used by the account. For streaming, choose the region where the content is available. For ordinary web access, start with a nearby region. YJVPN covers 90+ countries and 200+ routes, so there is no need to test every route on your first use. Filter by destination first, then adjust among routes in the same region.
After choosing a route, enable the connection and wait for the client status to change from connecting to connected. Open a webpage that has not been cached, then visit the website or app you actually need. If ordinary pages load but the target app still reports a regional mismatch, fully quit and reopen the app, and clear its saved session if necessary. Do not switch through multiple routes repeatedly at once, or it will be difficult to tell which change took effect.
Verify the connection with a real task. For streaming output, start a normal conversation and check that content continues to return. For video, play a clip and check that quality remains stable. For development tools, confirm that an IDE plugin or command-line request completes successfully. A button changing color in the client is not enough to confirm the full workflow; verification is complete only when the actual service works.
Once the connection is confirmed, you can save the current route as a preferred choice. When opening the client later, update the subscription first, then connect to the preferred route. Choose another route if the target region or use case changes. Do not delete a subscription that is working normally; keeping it lets you continue receiving route updates.
The connection switch is enabled, and the current route name is clear.
The target website, app or development tool completes a real task successfully.
The subscription item remains in the client and can still be updated.
Common First-Time Setup Fixes
If the client says the subscription is empty or the update failed, return to the account overview and confirm the plan status, then copy the subscription link again. Check that no spaces were added at either end when pasting, and do not use the sample address as a real subscription. If updating still fails, try again through another access method on the current network to rule out a temporary local network block.
If the route list appears but the connection fails, keep only one client running, close other tools that may also control the system network, and try another route in the same region. Windows and macOS users should also check that first-time authorization is complete; Android and iOS users should confirm that the system connection configuration is allowed. Do not reinstall the client first—checking permissions, routes and the local network one by one usually makes the cause easier to identify.
If ordinary webpages work but AI tools, streaming or development tools behave unexpectedly, the issue has likely moved beyond “whether you are connected” to regional selection, session cache or long-lived connection quality. This page does not cover those technical branches; read the complete guide to accessing AI tools and check the network environment, login stage, web interface, API and developer scenarios separately.
If you need human assistance, submit a ticket through the user panel. Include your platform, the error shown in the client, the selected region and whether the issue occurred during import, update or connection. Do not paste the subscription link on a public page. In the ticket, describe only the symptoms and provide necessary information as requested by support.
Open the ticket area and describe the issue by import, update or connection stage.
First-Time Setup Complete
Once the account, plan, subscription, client and connection verification are complete, everyday use only requires updating the subscription, choosing a route and connecting. Always get the client download and subscription credentials from the user panel.
